Grids are damn sexy. Who gives a ____ if he spent 1200 instead of 5000? Not everyone is about the 'rare' parts or trying to be some 'JDM legend omgzorz'. It looks good and they like it. Hell I bet they get alot higher points in a show than someone with some baller rims and nothing else on their car. I paid 300 or 400 shipped with tires for mine NEW, and not a single person has looked at them and said 'if you had different wheels the car would go 50x faster' or 'if you had different wheels your car would win shows'. They work for me and I like them, ____ what some stuck up piece of ____ thinks.

How come just about everyone I see on here with high end wheels have cheap tires? Yeah I have cheaper wheels now, I also have michelin pilot sport PS2 tires. I also paid $400 shipped for the rota's and I wont have these wheels long enough for anyone on her to even see these on my car in person. It's entertaining to read how people on here judge you by what kind of wheels you have or how much you spent on them especially when we're all driving scion tc's..

My wheel choice and mod taste is what makes my tC miles better than the average user's tC.

now, tires degrade and loose value the more you use them... but not nearly in longevity comparisons to the depreciation value and time of a nice wheel... so honestly... what would you spend your money on... the best and most expensive tires only to have to replace them every so many year(s)/moth(s)/ .... or a nice set of wheels that dont degrade or depreciate in comparison over a period of time.

Of course we will judge, if I wasn't judgmental then I wouldn't have the desire to make my tC stand out from every other stock tC on the road, or in this case, every tC that comes stock with those Grids.
