Rim Rash Remedy Question
I have some Curb rash on my passangers side tires...stupid previous owner messed them up to begin with and I caused even some more (first manual car)
and I was wondering if I could paint it completely black...
I found a DIY on how to fix the problem and I tend to be pretty good at those and was wondering if there was a black paint for rims that worked out well.
Also I have the chrome lip...and since I can't keep it if I was to paint it I was wondering how well paint goes over chrome. (Probably a stupid question)
Also if there are other remedies...That don't include paying some guy as much as the rim cost to get it fixed?

If you have a chrome lip, you'd be a lot better off just getting it polished out. That's one of the really nice things about chrome or Mag wheels.
As far as how well paint covers chrome: it doesn't.
If you really want them 'painted' get them powdercoated.
