sevas s-star 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear
offsets are 35 and 40 respectively. tires are going to be 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 (rear obviously)
what kind of issues will i be looking to run into ? dropped on s-techs
this isn't my car, but it was put on a customer's car and they seem to not have any problems. what do you guys think?

another thing, i'm dropped on s-techs also, i'm thinking there might be some rubbing issues.

wow.... just wow....
and by Wow I mean, you are screwed.
that offset is way, way, way, completely, totally, utterly, and any other adjectives that can describe wrong, by being too far out from the car to be driveable.
That stock car is not even driveable.
I will not be surprised when you can't even set the car down off the jack without bending the rear quarter because of the s-techs.
Hope they're returnable....
FYI, I have 18x8's w/225's in 35mm on TRD's and I rub on all 4 corners on large bumps or at autocross events. I also rolled my rear fenders, and I still rub. Also, ride height does not affect whether the wheels are the wrong size or not... if it rubs dropped, it rubs stock, or at any ride height, it will just take a bigger bump to do it, and it only takes a few seconds of a tire spinning at a few hundred RPM's rubbing against sharp metal panel edges to shear the tire and cause an explosion.

hmmm.. i have 18x8 in 37 offset and i will be installing Hotchkis Springs. There are others taht have this setup and have no probs, and the Hotchkis sit lower that the TRD's.... So that sounds weird to me.. I havent installed anything yet, so any more info would be greatful... I dont think i will have probs, but i will be installing 225/40/18 tires with it.. Should i go 215 instead? i really like the 225's....

alrite guys update for ya'll,
i did put them on tonight, the rear is rubbing, but its easily fixed by either trimming the fender or rolling it. other than that, it is quite sick. the wheels are sitting flush with the body, not sticking out nor is it sunked in. it sits perfectly wide! the fronts are 8.5 like i said, and they don't rub at all, but the rear is my only major concern, and it is an easy fix no doubt. just gonna go to a local wheel/tire shop to trim those suckers and i should be good to go.
i will fix tomorrow in the afternoon and update ya'll
pix 2morrow too!
