Default snow tires and junkyard rims for a 08 TC

i want to get 4 cheap steel rims from a junk yard or a used place
i just want some cheap rims to put snow tires on so i dont have to trash my good rims and i dont have to get tires re-mounted every season.

can i get some used camry or corolla rims for my 08 TC.
cause the chance of finding 4 factory tc rims for cheap is unlikely
where as im sure i could find some toyota rims fairly easy
the tires are gonna be 400 to 500$ i dont wanna spend 400-500 on rims too
just some junkers from the used pile for the 4 months a year ill need them

will they fit?
what size snow tires can i get
i have the factory 17 inch tc rims and tires on there now

i know GM 5 bolt rims are all the same bolt pattern for every GM out there
is toyota and scion the same like that?

I had picked up a set of spare tC wheels on Craigslist forever ago - under $100 for all 4 wheels (with bald tires). I was going to suggest you check there around you - but I just pulled up the Pittsburgh CL... WTF?

This guy wants $100 for ONE DAMAGED tC wheel:
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/1815911471.html

And everyone else wants $100 each for decent wheels. People down there are dumb. Maybe $200 for a clean set of tC wheels...

What about TPMS sensors? I think that 08 TC's require them.

i seen 2 tc factory rims for 200$ for both on craigs list
they look in good shape, not bad price for the rims
but i was hoping to find a set of 4 for less than 200
cause the tires them selves are gonna be 400 - 500 so i dont wanna invest close to a grand for snow tires for 4 months
but after last winter im getting snow tires and a snow blower cause im not dealing with that mess again

rims from the Corolla and/or Matrix will fit even if they're 16's... you should be able to find some 16 inch steelies as well, like the ones from the Spec tC or other models... maybe someone would know better but isn't the xD the same bolt pattern?
