Default Spacer Size

Can i put 2" spacers with 17x8 +35 wheels on a 2006 TC? I know it is a bit drastic, but i am getting a widebody kit, and i would like to avoid spending thousands on super-wide wheels.

What problems would there be? Would there be extra wear on any parts of the car?

These are the spacers i am thinking of:

Thank You!

Not worth it. You'll kick yourself for not getting nicer proper fitting wheels in the first place. It'll mess with your wheel bearings also leading to more money for repairs down the line, so do it right the first time. Save your money and get the right size wheel, your car will thank you for it.

That is true, what dropzone said. 2 inches is a lot of stress and unwanted weight. Just get proper fitting wheels with that widebody. Theres nopoint wasting money on spacers cause youll just want to get the right wheels down the line.

save the trouble

you have the money for a widebody kit but not for new wheels? that mean you have to get it fitted properly and painted which cant be cheap unless ur doin it all urself. btw check some used wheel site ie memoryfab.com, rbwheels.com.
