Default SportMax 006 Question's Please!

I saw these rims on an xB at a show and I fell in love with them.

I love the fact that they are inexpensive but do look expensive at the
same time. My favorite part about them is the nice lip it has on the rear tires.
I was wondering if anyone else has these rims on a tC? I've searched and
mostly found xB/bB's to have them and not tC's.

If I order a set of 18x7.5 with a 42 offset, will they fit my 06 tC and will they
still have the nice lip in the rear that I see xB/bB's have? I'm all about having a
nice fat lip in the rear. I'm also going to powdercoat the center faces to a
secret custom colour to go with the color scheme of my car.

I want the staggered look for sure.

If these won't work, what are other rims that have a nice mesh spoke pattern
and wide lips? HRE's are out of the question, too expensive!

first off.. HRE = very weak

and no you wont get that "look" that your going for, the lip that you see only comes on 8.5 and 9.5 and they dont make those sizes for our car.

they make it for the 5x114 but we are 5x100, so we get screwed basically.

18x7.5 will have some lip, but it wont look as nice as the 3" lip on the 9.5

i heard bbist was trying to get them to drill our size, so your best bet would be to talk to him.

Yes they will fit, and NO they won't have the lip you're looking for.

How are you going to "order a set of 18x7.5 with a 42 offset" yet have "the staggered look for sure"?

Sorry, i don't know much about wheels.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking for a mesh-type rim with a very nice polished lip.

Are there any other rims out there?

Didn't mean to sound like an as$ in my previous post. I was just curious as to how you were going to get the staggered look. "google" is your friend. I can give you one site that has a couple of rims that you're looking for...

edgeracing.com

These have to be my new favorite wheel...

5Zigen Sport Engine 3000.
If I didn't already own a couple of sets of rims, these would MOST DEFINITELY be on my tC!!
