Default Super Advans....

So these are the wheels I've always wanted... Just trying my meager photoshop skills to get an idea of what it might look like... Anyone know a shop or store who imports Advans?? Although I'd probably have to sell a kidney to afford them...

or maybe in blue... haha

They definitely will cost you alot brand new. You gotta specify which Super Advan wheel, as Yokohama made 4-5 versions (2 currently in production).

Brand new: any shop that sells Volk Racing wheels can get Advans, since both are distributed by Mackin Industries in the USA.

Gruppe S near San Francisco can also import them

Used: You'll have to do some hunting, and with some luck you'll find a 5x100 set. There are plenty of 5x114.3 Advans around.
Here are some shops that import used wheels from Japan.

What size are you getting? Are you concerned about weight, or just looks? The 17" black Duals weigh 20 pounds each, yet the Kazera KZ-V 17" weighs just 17. Just thought you might want to know, as such a weight difference is worth considering.

Well that depends... If it was between the KZ-A or the KZ-B, I'd probably go with whichever is lighter... But the KZ-V looks too much like stock and not what I want so the weight difference wouldn
't be enough to make me go with the lighter of the two... If I never get my split three spoke advans, I'll probably go with a 5 spoke kind.. like the KZ-As, KZ-Bs or maybe the Axis Reverbs... or the previously mentioned EVO5...

i think the 3 spoke advans just might work on a tC. i think it would have to be mighty slammed though to look good.

I'm still ambivalent... I've always liked that wheel design... it's just hard for me to look at a poorly photoshopped pic and see it as a whole.. I always either just see the car or just see the wheel... decisions decisions...

Its not the Size that makes the wheels, Its how they fit the Car. These Wheels happen to suit the SL500 very well. But they are more of a **BLING**BLING** kinda thing. Im a Valet...so i see all kinds of differnt cars in many different styles.
