well Ive done a lot of work with prepping bodies for paint...but havent really ever messed with prepping wheels for paint

^^ well to be honest with you DJ... I think that Toyota hit the mark in a good 17" wide rim design... they just fell short in a good finish that holds up...but on the flip side... it makes it easier to sand down and make our own custom colors without having to shell out big bucks for different rims.

^^ ah snap... try looking at previous pages of this post.. there is one on this thread I think that really nailed the gold for the stock tC rims.

hell...I got 3 kids under 5 years old, so time is a premium in my house...I dont' sand, primer OR clearcoat! Dremel FTMFW! then 3 coats of spray, leaving it for a flat/matt look. But I might actually tape off the center cap cause those on teh last page with the logo silver and the rest of the cap painted look top notch...
