So are there certain paints that work better than others, because I'm so doing this this week since we've had some awesome hot weather for drying fast

Cool thats what I figured....Now to decided on the color/colors I want to do, Part of me wants to do a nice glossy black, the other part wants to do matte black with a glossy red lip. Anyone want to put their 2 cents into my decision Oh my tc is ssm fyi

personally im not a fan of black wheels... any black wheels, but it really is up to you

 

Silver, I'm leaning towards a nice glossy black, but maybe graphite i don't know I'm a terrible decision maker

 

i have graphite and i love it, i was gonna go with black im so glad i didnt toomany people have it, i can count only 3 people with graphite that have posted it up.

 

I got black and im proud. Even though there are 10012481204 black ones out there but hey i like it. Fits my theme. BATMOBILE FTMFW

 

Yeah after scanning through this thread I have seen way too many black rims, and I think graphite/charcoal or something along those lines is what I'm going to do, I'll post up as soon as they are done hopefully I'll do my springs the same day, time to go to kragen and rent a spring compressor

I am really sorry for the late reply but some people PM and wrote here wishing to know what color did I used to paint my rims.

Here it is:

TOYOTA BRONZE/AMBER CODE 4TO
I wanted the rims to sparkle a bit more so we modify the formula to include a heavier bigger flake.

Code was:
DMD 649 Clear
DMD650 Large Aluminum Flakes (actual flakes was 1607 Medium Flakes)
DMD1683 Black
DMD 1610 Orange
PRLX3 Crystal Gold Pearl
PRLX7 Copper
DX995 Matt Base
DMD646 Weak White
DBX1689 Clear

If anyone needs the actual mesurements of each color let me know.
