custom 3 piece ftw.

If you're looking to spend around 3k, you can get yourself a good set of forged wheels.

and what some other people need to understand is that your sometimes paying for a name, or accomadating overseas shipping. Don't get me wrong, I'm not downing the quality of Volks, but I wouldnt exactly call Axis poo either. They aren't exactly a Pep Boys wheel. I've put 19,000 miles on my Axis wheels, all with the car lowered quite a bit, and have had no problems at all.

Sure a Lincoln Navigator is nice (and expensive) but a Ford Explorer is the same thing with a different name...

Isnt the Navigator the same platform as the Expedition? I think the Explorer and Lincoln Aviator are the same.

After seeing I Am Legend, I want an Expedition just like the one in the movie.

i would never compare a ford and a lincoln, the quality of the lincolns are much higher than fords.

and yes the navi and the expedition and the explorer and the aviator.

now i'd say same quality as a mercury mountaineer but NOT a lincoln.

Lincolns are just as crappy as Fords. Look at all the Towncars and Continentals with failed air suspension, dragging their @$$ like some dog on the carpet.

maybe true

but i would never compare an axis wheel to a volk wheel

mainly the axis matrix to the volk gtp. The volk is the jag and the axis is the honda. (i was gonna say ford but you'd come back and say they're both owned by ford)

Axis wheels are: made in China, made from cheap metal, manufactured through a casting process, and all 1 piece.
Volk Racing wheels are: made in Japan, made from aluminum, manufactured through forging process, and available in 1, 2 ,& 3 piece designs.
The price difference is justified given the quality of materials, manufacturing process, and quality of workmanship.
