well actually Neb, I wanted the real stuff, and I am quite glad i got the cheap stuff..... 800+ to replace a real BBS RS-GT..... i think the wouldnt have cracked, but they would have bent the same way.....

no they wouldn't have. look up the difference between the forging strengths and gravity cast strengths. You're wheels are probably 1/5th the strength of the BBS's. And thats conservative.

Actually....my wheels are low pressure cast and shot peened (micro-forging...lol) .....i know the real stuff would be stronger...but seeing a 4runner suv with stock wheels with a bent rim and blown tire...i think no forged rim would of survived un bent.....but i can understand that they might have not bent as much, but they would have bent...that pothole was real deep...it felt and sounded like my car was hit by another car...

Neb those sexy Volks you had...i think the lip woulda bent if you hit the pothole i hit
