Tire Pressure light will not stay off
I had my car in for the 15,000 mile maint and on the way home my tire pressure light comes on. I checked my airpressure, which was fine and reset the light. Well it come on the next day. I keep on resetting it and it keeps on coming back on. Has anyone ever had this issue?

32psi in the back, 29psi in the front i believe.... it should be right inside your drivers door panel

I hit a large pothole and had the same problem.. The tire wasn't actually going down at all. It would stay at the exact same PSI (30) and the tire pressure light would still come on.
The rim ended up being bent and that's what caused it.. I had to get a new rim to fix it.
This issue will also happen if you put fix-a-flat in your tire and don't drive around on it right away.. The stuff will harden inside your tire on one side and cause it to wobble.

My rims don't feel bent and I have the correct PSI. I might stop by the dealer then, hopefully they won't take too long. Funny thing is it comes on a good 20 miles after I reset it. Not right away.

However, I could slightly feel a vibration from the rim/tire at around 60-70mph.

the only way the light will stay off is if you have the tires at 32 front, 29 rear... the computer knows. if you have different size wheels on the car, then i dunno how it would work right, you'd probably have to have the dealer reset it for your new wheels, but looks like you have the stock's right? just try setting them 32 front, 29 rear, then holding the tire pressure button till it flashes, then turn the key off and then start the car and it should go away.

I had the same problem. It tured out that the gauge I was using was not accurate. Try either having the dealer check your pressures or get a digital pressure gauge. It turned out that mine was reading 32 but I actually had like 36psi and it kept tripping the light.

mite be that you have nail, etc. in the tire OR tires
valve stem leaking, bead not on correctly

if you do have a leak, then it will deffinately stay on until you get it fixed... take it to a local goodyear or something and have them do a leak check on all 4 of your tires and see what they say. then have them check your pressure once they either fix it, or re-mount your tires.

I am having the same problem. I have 18x8 rims with 224/40/zr18 tires. Does I need to put any more air in them than my stockers? Or should I just go buy what it says on the door jamb on the car?

The computer doesnt know the pressure in your tires. If the pressure is higher that means that your wheel is a bit larger if the pressure is lower it means your wheel is a bit smaller in circumference. That means that your tire with low pressure has to spin more than a normal tire to catch up. So pressure warning comes on when you have unequal rotation speeeds, that is why difference size tires set things off.
Try resetting it right before a long drive, 1 hour or so, so that the computer has plenty of time to get data witha large sample size.

that is correct, it doesn't detect the exact pressure
but the pressure being low plays a key in the light coming on, since its not spinning correctly

Yeah, what those guys said.
It doesn't check the pressure, it checks to see if one wheel is spinning or breaking at a different speed. I run 42 in the front and 40 in the rear and as long as there isn't more than +/- 2 psi difference between a set of tires the light doesn't come on.
Check the pressures in the shade after the rubber has cooled down for a few hours to make sure you are getting the correct reading.

Same thing happened to me after I took it to Jiffy Lube, I never asked him to mess with the tires, and had to stop him from washing my windows with that nasty green/blue bottle of crap!!! Sorry...
Anyways, I took it to Les Schwaub and the Jiffy Lube guy had them at 35, 43, 43.5 and 40! Had the tires rotated at Les Schwaub and the guy said to have the stocks all at 40, no problems since. Never again Jiffy Lube!
