Default tire rotation torque lbs?

I am going to be rotating my tires myself and want to make sure I torque them correct. Can somone let me know the right lbs? Also - The driver seats and passenger seats .... im gonna have to take them back out this summer and need to torque them ... whats the lbs on them?

as far as seats.... dunno of specific torque spec.. just don't overtighten and break the bolt..

76 ft-lbs.. in a star pattern (your owners manual will tell you how to tighten them).. also after 1000 miles, it's recommended to re-torque.. I've seen this on the tC, and the owner's manual is right..

don't know the seats bolt torques.. sorry..

Nice - there are torque wrenches on sale at sears this week (w/ the craftsman card) for $50 .... 1/2 size.

That's expensive. I got mine for $20. 3/8ths drive though.

hehe - yea but craftsman makes a pretty good product. I plan on keeping it for a long time.

yeah i agree craftsman is good stuff.. i have the 1/2 drive torque wrench from Craftsman.. have to get it "calibrated" every year i hear.. i might do that this year..

how ...where ...do you go for that?


guy at work told me to just always keep it at 0 when not using it.

a sears parts service center will do it (fix appliances, electronics, etc).. i think you can find one by calling your local sears store or sears.com

yeah probably an hourly charge, i haven't done it yet.. but now you have me curious.. i'll have to contact them and find out..
