i believe 20's would work if you never lower your car. I personally believe 18's are the best size for the tC

Why choose between 18s and 20s? How bout compromise with 19s? I considered 18s but dont think that 1 inch from stock is worth the extra money, and 20s might be alittle to big. So I am ordering 19s this week. Seems to be the perfect size IMO, but wont know until they get here .

Also I think it depends on how the wheels look. Lip? No Lip? Spokes? Color? Etc.. some 18s look like 19s and vice versa. Try to find wheels you like on someone else car first for comparison.

there's a tc running 20's here in Dallas, and I don't think he rubs, but then again the car was never lowered. I was thinking of running 16's, I've haven't seen that yet

As long as her rims look good I think she could care less about the rubs and the Mad body roll

19 inch tires are rare and are more expensive than 18s..

research fellows, research. i have 20's.. i have had my car slammed. no rubbing.
FULL turn radius.
i bought these rims off of nolimitzinc. feel free to check out his photos, i believe he had his tc even lower then mine. i run B&G coilovers by the way.
and for the guy with the 19x8.5 on s techs your rim is too wide. thats why you rub. also your tire could be too big, your offset could be wrong. there are many things, but you can fit 20's on s-techs as well without rubbing. ive seen it done.

i know my tires are too wide, thats why i posted the width, so the OP wouldnt get scared... HAWGZ runs a 19x7.5 on stechs with no issues.. but i like the wider look and its worth it to me.

well not too wide, but too wide for s techs. i honestly need a wider tire, but i dont really use my car to its potential, ever. i barely ever stomp the gas.

i have b&g suspension. what ever extra vibrations the rubber bands have caused has been tuned out of the suspension. my car rides smoother then my buddies stech with 18' konig troubles. much smoother. keep in mind also how many spokes are on my wheels. the wheel absorbs most of the energy. no problems yet and my ride is very comfortable. i little more tweaking on my car and i will have a great ride.
