Default What's a good tire in the $150 range??? any help appreciated

I need some new tires, my fronts are pretty much slicks at this point. I don't really want to go towards the 200 mark. Any suggestion on a solid tire for around 150 would help me out. Thanks.

it depends on what kinda tire u want (soft or hard rubber)....i have the BFG g-sport all season tires, they're not the best performance wise but theyre durable and reliable. I had Neo Gens before and they wore out in about 20K. i think my BFGs were about 120 each

What size are you looking at? Kumhos are good inexpensive all-season tires. I'm starting to see them on BMWs now.
I got my Kumhos at discounttiredirect.com for about $80 each. (Plus, they have FREE SHIPPING.) Check them out.

kumho's wear easily. best bang for your buck are the nexens. i got a set of four for $354 shipped, and they will last longer than kumho.

Did you ever try "thetirerack.com", got BF Goodrich G Force on my summer rims now, good bang for the buck, got last year on a clearance deal for 66.00 each. Just bought a set of all season Yokahamas for my winter wheels for 64.00 each. I only shop here, been very satisfied with the service and prices for many years.

All the tires mentioned are great choices, but it really comes down to what kind of tire you need (summer only, all season, ect.). With that info, I bet we can steer you in the right direction.

I suggest going with Falken 912's or Toyo Proxes 4's. Falken's will last you longer, but Toyo's will grip a bit more.

yeah you'd like the proxes4s.. plus if you got them from a local dealer, they have a test drive 30days/500miles. If you don't like em they'll exchange them for something else!

not that you probably would want to get rid of them, but they last about 25k miles before replacement.
