Everytime I took my last car into Firestone to get tires replaced (well, twice over a 2 year period) they tried to "inspect" my car and told me I had a bad wheel bearing. I first told them not to "inspect" my car, since I do that myself and that if it was bad, I would replace it myself. Needless to say I found no abnormal play and drove for 70,000 miles on that "bad" bearing (and still have that car and drive it). They also had a list of $600 worth of other work they said I should have done one time... NONE of which needed to be performed and never was. I still have the car and none of those items are faulty. Dont take thier word for it. Take it to the dealer and let them decide since it is uder warranty. Did you take it in suspecting a bearing issue or were you in for something else?
