Default Wheel Decision?

I'm liking the specs of this wheel (17x8 w/ +32 offset at 17.5lbs) but I am not sure about the red?

I like how the red is different initially and makes the rim pop but that may not last long.

get some other red accenting and you'll be fine.

Red cailper paint would be a nice touch with those wheels.

Hm. Red overlays on the mirror signals would look good with that too. Maybe if you swap the reflectors for red reflectors in addition.

I think you'd have a subtle, clean, and unique tC. That's a novelty. Go for it. Seriously.

Thanks for the responses. I don't want any more red on the outside as I'm more into the clean look that's why I am struggling on what to do. Red calipers may help, we'll see.

Just thinking out loud and will figure it out eventually.

These are Weds. http://www.c-one.co.jp/C-ONEPARTS/sa70.html

JIC may be coming out with wheels in our size also. http://www.jic-magic.com/SearchProdu...CarModelID=101

maybe not on the outside but paint the interior trim in a subtle red or get red racing bucket seats

Me likes. Like a few others have said, add a touch of red to some other areas to really bring out the red.

With the 32 offset, you won't be able to run 245s without serious worries about rubbing, so what's the point? Find that wheel in a mid-40s offset and you're golden.

I never intended to run 245 tires.

Then that $1200 worth of 17x8 rims is basically going to waste. If you're not going to mount the best performing tire, $300 a wheel is ill spent.

But hey, it's not my money.

We all have our goals and way of doing what we want. One doesn't make the other wrong!!!

I personally don't see the point in going with a light rim and adding all that weight back in rubber. I have a specific goal in mind and wide tires for optimum handling is not it.

They are Weds wheels. They are limited edition ones by C-One that come in silver and then the red trim. http://www.c-one.co.jp/C-ONEPARTS/sa70.html
