Default Wheel Question

O.k. I have a 2008 Nautical Blue Metallic tC and I can't figure out what kind, color, and size rims I want to get for it in the spring. So I'm asking everyone on the forum to please help me out and give me ideas of what kind of wheels to get, What color to get, and What size to get. Thanks in advance for everyone that gives me ideas.

Some 17x8" with 45~ offset would go great with 225/40 or 235/40 tires. And it would work with a moderate drop too.

Color wise, gloss black or flat black looks good on that color. Its all up to you for the style.

If you are looking for performance, stay 17's and go as wide as 8". If you want looks, I would say 18's. They fill the wheel wells very nicely. If I had nautical blue, I would consider bronze, gold, gunmetal, hyper black or silver, and normal silver. I think black is way to dark for the nautical finish. My two cents.

x2. 17s with a 225/40. get lightweight rims, for 17s, under 20 lbs should be fine.

i say no to glossy black, bronze, gold, chrome/silver. Go for a gunmetal/graphite/gray 6/7 spoke or mesh wheels with a nice (though not over the top) lip.

I concur on sticking w/ 17" , its going to be a lighter wheel then a 18" , plus tires will be less expensive overall.

Also, given your blue color car, I recommend considering a WHITE wheel , they both set each other off very well / complement each other well.

White wheel makers that aren't too expensive: Buddy Club = $170 ea. , and there are others(brands + makes escape me right now) ..... not so sure 5Zigen makes it in the FNOR1-C wheel , I think you have to step up to there FORGED Beckett FNOR1 = about $375ea.

Keep in mind price + weight when you are finally configuring your purchase! Good luck!
