Default WILL IT WORK? Staggered 18in axis reverb

Just recieved my wheels today from a ebay purchase and they messed up the order. I was suppose to get a set of 18x8.5 Axis Reverb gunmetal color for my TC. I just pulled them out of the box and 2 are 18x8.5 and 2 are 18x9.5. Will I be able to get away with doing this staggered setup? 9.5in looks extremly wide! I have the car at stock height but will look to lower it with tein h-techs. Does anyone have pics of staggered look on the tc? THANKS!!!

They will work fine. Just put 225 in the front and the next size in the back

The offset for the 18x8.5 is 35 and the 18x9.5 is 40.
I was thinking 225/40-18 and 255/35-18 for tires.

Im not really worried about rotating. Is anyone running this staggered 18in setup?

you should be fine. i've seen a few people run that size on Axis wheels. I'd get 235 or 245 (preferably the narrower/smaller size) for the rear. you'll be sitting flush. It'll look really nice once you drop it. You may (but most likely) have to roll the rear fenders once you lower it. You may be able to avoid rolling fenders if you: dont keep car audio stuff in the trunk, never have 4 people in the car, and moderately lower your car (Tein H-techs should be good), and stick to a narrow tire (wider = rubbing).

Sounds like 235/40-18 will be a better fit for the rear. THANKS
