when it comes to snowboarding in so cal we haven't had a good dump of snow in a few years. 80% of the driving up to bear or mt. high is dry driving. i wouldn't worry to much about it. when we do get snow we only have to worry about chains for 2-3 days.

I had ES100's on my last car (Honda Accord) and it is downright dangerous on anything under 50 degrees with slick conditions (rain, snow) Azenis are not all season and they're summer only tires. the ZE-512's are all season falkens and i'm running them. They're cheap and grip ok but i haven't used them in the snow as of yet. Waiting though. I just wouldn't want you to slide off some mountain road because you were running azenis :) in light dusting or rain.

people get snow on the roads?!?! aint never seen that at the beach......just a little said blowing on them....but that doesnt hamper driving too much...hehe seriously though the azena sport can be sketchy even with a little bit of water on the road, let alone snow or ice....so be careful
