Default Winter tires I ended up going with

Here's what I ended up going with:

(4) Yokohama
195/60R-15 88R BW
Ice Guard IG20

2003 TOYOTA COROLLA CE SEDAN
$74.00 $296.00
(4) MB Wheels
15X6.5 5-100/11438SM
Five X

2003 TOYOTA COROLLA CE SEDAN
$74.00 $296.00
(1)
Wheel Installation Kit
for MB Wheels Five X

2003 TOYOTA COROLLA CE SEDAN
$45.00 $45.00
(1)
Free Hub Centric Rings
for MB Wheels Five X

2003 TOYOTA COROLLA CE SEDAN
$0.00 $0.00
(4)
Valve Stems

$3.00 $12.00
UPS Ground FREE

TOTAL $649.00

Figured I spend $40 to upgrade to wheels instead of the steelies. Any final thoughts? If something doesn't work, I'll have to call in before the morning EST.

Thanks to everyone who helped!

Also, I see on an older post that those Audi tires are listed at $400 2 weeks ago, and I can probably get those for that price, so consider that.

no way to tell until you actually try them on.
the audi ones from the first link should fit. TT brakes are huge. so if they clear TT brakes, then it'll clear tC brakes.

It seems like all those tires have a larger overall diameter than what the tC calls for. The wheels should work, but I would change the tire sizes.

They are a bit taller than 215/45R17, but the same OD for 205/55R16 which is the size tire for a tC running 16's. You may get a bit of speedometer/odometer error. I would probably try to go with 16's.

I have steelies , 205/60QR-15 and with the Blizzak's the are the same size as the stock tires. After 2 winters the steel looks like ____ and the salt and sand sticks to the inside of the rim and goes off balance.

also check http://www.tirerack.com/snow/WinterP...9&autoModClar= they can help with wheel and tire sizing.

so none of these tires will work? those 16" $600 are sold and not an option anymore =/ Are you sure I can't use those ones that are $325? they would be great.

Wouldn't go smaller than 16". I've heard some 15's do not clear our brakes.

What is the offset I need for the tC? The lady I talked to at a tire store said 4", is that right? How about any of these?

The only ones that woulkd work with your bolt pattern is the '95 Cavalier, but your back ate the problem that some 15's do not clear tC brakes. All the other ones listed will not fit because they have the wrong bolt pattern.

will stock Toyota Corolla wheels fit without any adjustment? (they seem to come in 2 types according to tirerack, 195/60 and 185/60 I think I remember?)

I heard corolla wheels fit Scion tc's, so I searched using Corolla specs at Tirerack and was wondering if these 15" rims would work:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Price

Will all corolla wheels fit basically?

(getting that 15" rim above will still allow me to use like $60 cheap tire changes in both winter/summer tires since it's a more common wheel, right?)

They might work, but you are still risking the fact that they might not clear your brakes. From my understanding our calipers are slightly bigger than the Corolla's. Someone please let me know if I'm wrong.

No. The offset is way too high.
