Default Winter Tires W/ Steel Rims

Im new to the whole scion life.com but anyways... does any one know where to start to buy Winter tires with steel rims for my 2006 sciontc. I am doing this b/c i do not want to booger up my alloy 17s. I will take anyones opinion...

instead of spending money on new beater rims, get a set of nice rims after the winter and use stockies as winter rims.

I dont have money to buy nice rims right now and im just looking for steel beater rims... any ideas?

I'm sure you could look around the classified section or craigslist and find a set of used stock alloy rims for cheap. People are always selling them.

16" wrx rims? 16" Celica or newer corolla rims...just make sure they are 5x100

Someone is selling xD stealies in the classifieds but I am not sure if they would clear the brakes, I would think they would. But the stealies already have tires on them.

I was looking to pick up a steel rim for like 30 - 40 bucks a piece... I cant find them anywhere.

check out stock xD wheels, they are the same bolt pattern and they are 16" steel wheels and they will clear stock brakes

Just reading about winter and steelys is making me want to puke.
Just use your stockies through winter and save up for nice rims for next summer.
Would you really wanna look at your scion with steelys on it?

I don't have that problem yet. I cant stand the cold and the depressing look of snowy days UGHHHH
