I was considering the tinted overlays, but red might look better on the white tC

The guy I go to keeps giving me a run around. I showed him your email as well as the pix of the overlays on the TC2 tail lights...He keeps saying they're just normal tint and no different than when I tried 4 times to put them on your car. He says they will look butchered on these tail lights because you need to make seams. I'm about to just order and go somewhere else. I feel bad cause he's a long time friend and his guys are "perfectionists" that's the reason they give for not wanting to tint the light. UgGgh!!

Interesting...I ran into a friend of mine who got his Lexus tails tinted but not with regular window tint. So I said vinyl, he said no, it's like a rubber material that u can stretch any way you want...u heat the adhesive and it's good to go. I told him what my guy said and he said yea that's cause he's using regular window tint. He said this guy down in Queens did his for $100. He couldn't tell me what it was called exactly, just that he watched the guy cut a small size piece and stretch it out to fit his light.

Anyone heard of this? I tried GooGling but came up with nothing.

Nevermind, I found out it's a 17mil thick film(not tint). Now to find someone who has this & installs around me. hMMMm

Yo bat can you give me a price for darkest tint sidemarkers and red out tails with the reverse light cut out? And I was curious as to how long these things hold up after install since no one knows what secret material you are using. I'm just afraid of it being some flimsy material and me screwing up the install and it peeling off

the vinyl is rated up to 7 years. I have customers from way back that still have them after 8 years! and still looking great!
