DDM HID Kits Ordered
#22
DDM Kit arrived today! Much faster than I expected. Ordered on the Sept 18th was processed and received an email from DDM on the 20th, arrived on the 30th. 12 days total time from order to delivery! Not bad.
Installation was a breeze. Used the slim ballast brackets and mounted them along the fender using existing holes, dynamat on the fender, then stainless steel bolts, drilled a small hole for a zip tie to hold wire harness up. Everything went perfect, no flickering, quick warmup to full brightness.
Definitely brighter than the stock bulbs but the color and light difference is going to take some getting use to. Really like them so far, they look great with my LED, DRL's and Park lights, wondering how they'll do in the rain and different weather/light conditions.

Cree Q5 - SMD Led Amber turn signal bulbs in route (4 of them), I already have the flasher as well to get rid of hyper flash without using resisters. Hope they come in this week... and hope they're bright and look good.
One other note, they ballasts do get warm to the touch but not so hot they burn you.

Cree Q5 + SMD LED turn signals installed.
4 Cree Q5 + SMD Turn signal bulbs came in today from JLC Lighting, $54 shipped. Very nice, BRIGHT!
Installed the Tridon LM449 turn signal flasher from Autozone $20 bucks, no hyper flashing, works perfect.
Very happy with the price and fast ship from JLC, good quality bulbs, very bright!

ive had the same set of DDM slim ballast HIDS for almost 3 years in two different cars and there still going strong. im thinking about ordering a new set of 35watt 3000k for my fogs and then getting a set of 55 wat ballast for my headlights so there brighter

Ok so i'm newbie at this but are these the right ones for a 2011 tc?? http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
Also our bulb size is H11 correct? is it the same for the fog lights?

Those are the ones and H11 is the correct bulb size for both low beam and fog lights. I'm running the Cree LED fog light bulbs instead of 2 sets of ballasts / hid kits and right now running 35 Watt HID's in the low beams, very happy with the set. They are definitely brighter and you really notice it on the highway when you come up alongside someone with halogens. I may get a set of 55's to see how hot the ballasts get, how much brighter, etc.
