Thats probably just because of the bubble effect on the lense.

I'm not a big fan of the cf though, especially when it is next to cf. That pic of the black cf eye lids next to the real cf hood... just makes it look cheap. I would definitely do a color match eye lid though. Adds to the aggressive look.

As for NIA, my wife won a set of their eye lids for her 2011 xB last year at a Scion Exposed event. They look pretty damn good on her car and I wouldn't mind getting a fiberglass set for my car.

yes and no...when i made the template i covered the headlight with wax paper. i used my finger to make the crease on the top part and then for the bottom part i used a wire (the plastic thick wire used for weed-whackers) and taped it down. then i just put the wire to how low i wanted it and traced it there to get an even curved path. but yea that unevenness is because of the round contours of the headlight itself

i just had left over white CF, if i had a choice i would have gone with a plain white. but then the whites might not match perfect with the body and look weird. i will be ordering black CF for another project soon. if i have left overs i might try to make black CF eyelids. my thought is that it might flow better with the black lines of the car (well its not really black lines, but the rubber from the hood and the gap between panels)

You just need a heat gun to make them more flexible so they stick and conform to the curves of the headlight. I used a hair dryer.

ehh it takes away from the clean look of this year tc. The Tc1 with lids fit more into place than the TC2.

Haha oblivion ^ I feel like you're always playing the devil's advocate, but I actually do kind of agree with you on this one. The Vinyl eyelids look a little forced on the new TC's. If they were fiberglass and paint matched like the NIA ones then that'd look pretty darn good

I agree on this one too. They look like they don't belong there. CF stickers doesn't make you cool
