Default HID Problem

Hey guys,

So I bought the ddm raptor kit and I seem to have a strange issue. The left ballast does not seem to want to go on unless I turn my headlights on twice. I turn it on, turn it back off, then turn it on again.

Also, it sometimes does not turn on when the fog lights are on either. The right ballast works fine but for some strange reason, the left has problems.

Anyone else run into a similar situation?

I have yet to have the time to switch the ballasts to see if its a ballast issue or the actual power source issue.

Bad ballast, call them up and they'll give you an RMA and they'll send you a new set.

Or just suck up the $40 and buy a new set. My 4300k 35w ones did that and I'm just replacing them with a 6k 55w set.

make sure its not touching/ too close to the battery.

depending how long you had it in there it will probably be shot anyways.

i noticed when people stick it to the battery it will flicker/ not work then burn out.

just some usefull info.
