possible 2011 tC Release Series 7.0??
#22
What options would make me want an RS model over a regular model?? more power, LSD, a sic body kit and lowered with a good set of coilovers (TRD?)
or at least an LSD and kit
or at least an LSD and kit

^What about kit, colour, wheels, drop for starters as thats what every RS usually gets. From there, who knows...

you can always tell whos new with scion when it comes time for "i wish the release series had this or that" noobs always ask for power adders and crazy expensive and then b!tch when the RS is 20-21000 haha

What if special editions came with certain performance upgrades but were available in 3 or 4 of the existing colors? Would that be more desirable?
For instance. R.S 8.0: Lowering Springs, Black Finished stock wheels, Special Spoiler and exhaust. Available in White, Black, Gray and Cement. Thoughts?

That would defeat the whole purpose of being a release series they are meant to be a special color only available in that color during that year and a limited amount

completely pointless and stupid... at that point.. anyone can put together a release series with just a matter of factory options.
a limited color reserved for the Release Series is primarily what sets them apart.

Talking of exclusive the Alcantara seats of the RS 3 and 4 tC I thought were def nice. All the rest got were color matched centers(except the RS 5, we just got the leftover RS 1 seats lol).

What if the R.S was a Supercharged edition available in 3 or 4 colors with a few aditional cost effective options?
#34
haha, you know what, call me a noob and blah blah. thats the ONLY way I'd be convinced to get a RS model... if not why the hell would I want one, if the little things they do I can do?? at least if it comes with a stock LSD I won't have to research aftermarket companies and then have to install the damn thing.

all this talk of LSD and superchargers coming on the RS... wow.. you guys can join the bandwagon that formed over 4 yrs ago when people kept asking for different and performance stuff before the RS2.0 came out.
^^ QFT.
i highly doubt any new Release Series is going to be made with it starting back at 1.0..
they didn't do it to the 2nd gen xB.. so why would they do it for the 2nd gen tC??
it'll be #7

Supercharger? That didn't last through the production of the 1st gen, and they cancelled that in '07(or was it '08?) because it was problematic, you'll find threads about it if you search on here. Like it was said before running a color selection is pointless for a Release Series. It's 1 color selected for a limited run of ~1,000-2,000 cars for that model for that year. If you don't like it, there's someone that does, maybe the next year they might have something you'd like. I wasn't expecting to trade in my Spec tC for the RS 5. I liked the RS 3 but it was too soon to trade in a car that I have only paid a year on. When the RS 5 was announced it def appealed to me and I was able to get a better trade in value for my '07 tC.
