Scion Emblems Replacements Request
Why don't some companies make badges of the same size that can be customized or have in stock something creative(autobot/decepticon sign or other known cultural badges) or have painted Scion emblems or just blank rounds of the same color as the car color code to at least fill the back one since an empty front would look stupid. There is no way I'm buying a carbon fiber hatch without the emblem and I wouldnt attempt to paint em myself/I dont like them painted black. I feel like it would be a huge market! It ain't 1st gen anymore and we cant just change out the grille
Also:
1. Can some please confirm how both are held in place.
2. How to remove them

pre-painted scion emblems? no company is going to that because there's really no market for it... most people do it themselves, or have someone else do it for them.
other random emblems or badges? uhh... i don't know about you, but i've seen plenty of crap out there for you to choose from.
they are held in by double-sided mounting tape...
how to take them off? rip them off. duh...

thats good for the back. but the front one is clipped on to the top grill so if you just rip that one out. your gonna break it lol.

The front emblem pops right off. Its got a few clips behind it. I just pulled with my fingers.
The rear is taped on. Heat it up with a hairdryer and run some fishing line under it. There are two little pegs on the back of it that fit into holes so you wont make it completely around with the fishing line. Just do half and pry the rest of it off.
You could get creative with some paint and do something like I did with my emblems. They don't have to be solid black.

There was a guy on either here or ClubxB that did custom emblem colors. Rather ingenious, he made a plaster mod of the stock badge then filled it with a color tinted urathane resin, could even do marble effects, etc, and durable since the color goes all the way through.
