Spec-D Headlight Bulb Replacement Question
So the new headlights from Spec-D come with an H7 bulb and it seems like it works as both a high and low beam. I want to replace this with an HID kit or at least just change the color and output since I'm used to driving with HID's, but I do not know which kind of kit I would need. Any kind of info would be useful. I've emailed Spec-D and theretrofitsource about it but they haven't given me a clear answer on what I should do or need.

So side note about Spec D headlights they are not HID ready. What that means is you may have to do some cutting where the bulb goes into to make them work. I wanted to get Spec D for my car but I called them and they said HIDs will not be a direct fit into them. They also said that HIDs might destroy them after awhile because they are not built to withstand the heat that HIDs put off. There are companies out there that have HID ready headlights.
