Stop/Tail LEDs blowing fuses
#2
You did not get the CK style bulbs for your brake lights. 7443 CK
You can find these types of bulbs on v-leds.com and autolumination.com, not many other websites sell CK style bulbs
If you are into wiring you can attempt to modify your bulb using Scion202's instructions here:

Otherwise your only other option is to return your bulb and get the 7443 CK style bulbs from the websites listed above.
And for reference only the brake lights are CK style. Turn signals, license plate and all other bulbs (including interiors) just need the normal type (7440, 168, etc..)

Won't make a difference. The wiring style of CK is different than a normal bulb. It will always blow. I think one of the - grounds and the +dim wire are swapped so this will always cause the fuse to blow.

We gotta start using the search. This has been covered many times. Originally in a thread by me:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...led+tail+light
The problem is solved by the end of the first page of the thread.
Everything dm1336 says is correct.
P.S. going up a fuse rating is NEVER a good idea. Using a bigger fuse to allow more current through than the wiring is designed for can lead to permanent damage.
