I'm curious, I want to know if it's worth spending almost 800$ on one of these.

We have seen 40 to 50hp on turbo charge car's that boost 15psi or more. On the flow bench it had 17% more flow then the stock intake manifold. You will gain the most Hp if you have a ECU that you can tune like a AEM EMS2.
If you have any more questions pm or give us a call.

most people dont put an intake manifold on unless they turbo the engine because it doesnt produce much gains on a stock motor therefore there probably isnt a dyno for a non turboed engine

^^^ what every one is saying is.....it wont do anything for you but look nice and set you back 800 clams. once you have an ecu you can tune along with other mods i/h/e ext. its not worth it so hp gain is probly 0

I see, That makes sense Thank you for the replys, the reason why I'm so desperate for Horsepower is I wana get my automatic 2011 tc to do 0-60 in 6 seconds, and I'm trying to find a way for it to do that, Intake, headers, Exhaust, Pulley, Engine mount. What else is there? all of that still won't get an automatic to due 0-60 in 6 seconds, I don't know if there is a way of getting a non turbo automatic tc to do 0-60 in 6, is there?

carbon fiber hood, hatch, doors, fenders <<< super expensive

replace the sunroofed top with a carbon fiber one <<<cheap

throw away the spare and rear seats <<< free

get light tires and light wheels from enkei <<< $1400-$1600

keep the gas tank 1/4 full <<< free

eat healthy and exercise
<<< nearly impossbile

Yeah, an auto G35 with the high revving 306hp engine barely gets there in 6 and some change seconds. Without dropping mad weight like Yuriy said, you aren't gonna get enough power for that.

And all the mods that Yuriy listed would easily total the descendant kit and a few dyno runs for a tune anyway.

I'm for the carbon fiber hood and roof but no door panels and losing the seats, I need my seats and door panels look ugly carbon fiber. But I get the point, it's mostly shedding weight.

the best bang for your buck is getting super light wheels. stocks are ~27lbs. you can get 19lbs enkeis which is a HUGE improvement!

you mean 180whp plus i find it funny that scion advertises this car to be at 180whp stock and isnt near that kinda interested to see what the fr-s gets since its only rated 20whp more then our tc is rated

No they dont. Manufacturer hp is 99.999999% advertised at bhp, not whp. That 99.99999999% includes scion. So it makes just the amount they say it does. The standards set by sae for measuring this on new cars is even more stringent than it was a few years ago.

Just from what I've always seen is these generally are VERY useful getting up in the 600+HP mark. Most of the time I've seen the intake manifold changed is in high HP (on s2k's people swap out around 600-700). They definatley are worth it but not until your pushing ALOT of air imo
