Default GAUGES!!!

I just ordered my gauges (prepping for turbo install) and need some help. I got gauges for boost, EGT, and oil pressure but this car has the most idiotic oil filter so a sandwich adapter is out of the question. Someone told me there should be a plug in the oil gallery and i can plug the sending unit in there. uhhhhh what??? Anyone install a oil pressure gauge in the 2AR-FE?

I would just tee it off the factory oil pressure sensor

Y'all with yer buddies lol... I'll be curious to see how it comes out, can't find much of a place to do a gauge install. I keep leaning towards doing an elliptical cut into the top of the dash, let the gauge(s) slope down a bit and get a cover fabbed to sit over it. Looks pricey though.

To bad no one has made a HUD you can install. That would be pimp.

This is probably the only place I would put the gauge @.

GReddy put theirs where the radio is at., and where I the location where I circled in the first picture, i think. You barely can see it.

nah, i mean it looks good but as you can see in the picture, when your sitting in the seat, the steering wheel blocks most of that view, so id rather put them (the important ones anyway) where i can see them without moving around and taking my eyes off the road too long. i have 4 gauges total to install before the turbo install so maybe ill do one there and put the other 3 where the HVAC dials are.

Yea, not many places where you can put them. The top three are below... I think A pillar gauges are whack, but the side air bags their.

Totally not my color choices but DAMN FINE WORK!

I'm really curious to see what the HVAC controls look like when you're done.

Nice work! Pics of HVAC controls coming soon? Nice touch with the color change for redline and speedo. Speedo needle in the purple = no D.L. if you get caught! lol

Looks great! Geeked about the HVAC relocation. I'm going to be super lame and put everything in a gauge pod on the dash.

the HVAC swap is done, i just need to finish the enclosure for them. i put red LED's at the end and when the blue and red light meet, it made that purple fade color. wasnt expecting that but i love it so its staying that way. ill get more up soon when im done with the HVAC install!
