The primary s pipe is basically for af ratio and the secondary compares the exhaust gases to the first and that's how it determines the catalytic converter is working. Putting the adapter on the 2nd O2 sensor makes it get a small amount of the actual gases passing through. Making it think there is a catalytic converter there so u don't get cel.

Okay. So I already have on on the S-pipe, so I have to remove the one on the header.

Ya and reset ur ecu. What did u buy 2 cel eliminator ? Do it ASAP cuz it's prob totally screwing up ur af ratio.

I'm using the one that came with the header on the s pipe but whatever as long as u don't get cel it should be fine.

So the straight adapter should be fine. I got a code of P2195 for heated oxygen sensor for bank 1 sensor 1.

Should be fine. Just put 1st O2 sensor directly into the header with no adapter. If u get a cel after that then put cnt one on s pipe. Should fix the bank 1 cel tho.

As far as noise, did you get a ticket for the exhaust?

I dunno only had it on for a day just got the car out of storage lol. But it's not any louder than it was with just my catback really. I'm putting another resonator on cuz it's pretty raspy well I stomp on it.

Wat u mean. No adapter on 1st O2 sensor just threads directly into header.

So I got a check engine light, so I have to use the l shape adapter.
Why is that?

Probably too much exhaust gases still reaching the 2nd O2 sensor. Did u reset the ecu by disconnecting the negative on the battery for a few minutes after u removed the adapter u had on the 1st O2 sensor ?

OK well I guess ur going to have to put the adapter that came with the header on the 2nd O2 sensor and try it again.

Because the adapter u currently have on there probably doesn't block out enough if the exhaust gases passing by. What is the code now ? U have a code reader ?

Because the straight one does not block the gasses.
