Default Programming a new Key FOB

Hello everyone,

I have a new replacement key from the dealer for my 2010 tC and I successfully programmed it so that I can lock/unlock the doors etc. However, it won't start the car, it just won't turn over?

The question is, can I program it so that it would work or MUST the dealer program it so that immobilizer will work as designed and allow the car to start with that key?

if the key is allready cut, then all you have to do is take it to the dealer so they can add that code to the inmobilizer ecu
