Under the back of the tc2, there is an extra, unused exhaust hanger on the passenger side, not far from the shock. What is it for? The stock exhaust certainly doesn't use it.

The TRD uses the exact same hangers and exhaust route. The extra hanger is for other exhaust routes. My Tsudo used that extra hanger you're talking about instead of the one on the far passenger side that the stock/TRD exhaust uses.

Hmm. It's interesting that Scion included the extra mount for aftermarket exhausts. They certainly want us modding.

Isn't the tC built on the Camry frame? Or the corolla frame? Because it may be used for one of those, then it could explain for the extra hanger

Good point, Delorean. It doesn't share the Camry/Corolla chassis, but rather the Avensis chassis. Either way, that could explain it.
