who has pistons? thats what i need! the guys that put in a new block for me told me that our rods are pretty strong and they can handle possibly up to 400whp but the pistons are the weak part. true? when building a bottom end what parts are added/will i need? pistons, rods, fuel pump....?

Ideally for building a bottom end you want:
pistons
rods
bearings
main studs
Set of 4 rods for $395.00

damn paul thats a good deal! and can i build the bottom end with my spare block? or will i need an entire bottom end. if i DO build the block, how would it be different from if i had my entire bottom end at the shop for the guys to build
#8
We can build you a short block with a core supplied. Our specs are proven on countless high HP Scions.
Yes and yes.
#9
whats hot swapping and also how long would it take to build an entire bottom end and how long would it take an average shop to install and how about just a block? also are you guys selling any built 2ars?
#10
Installing a short block, my guess is probably 12 hours....You may want to quote the shop you have in mind for more specifics.
Hot swapping is having another block built on a stand and then once complete, dropping that in to have no down time other than install and de-install.

so you guys have pistons and rods now? awesome! and the bearings and main studs, when will all of that be done? i cant wait to buy em all. you guys are great keep up the good work

Bearings are going to be the tough one due to crank, piston and rod variance from the factory. There is a choice of three different bearings to chose from per the factory service manual. So OE might be the only option at this point.
