Default 12 volt source

Hello all,

I'm in the process of doing various LED's inside my car (Dash, Cup holders, Puddle lights).

I'm looking for a +12 volt accessory wire that I can tap into safely, and splice my LED lights into. What has everyone used for this?

You could take out the center counsole and tap the wires that go to the cigarette lighter. Or you can run a new wire from the battery, or use the fuse box.

I believe I used the door lock fuse in the fuse box.

i prefer tapping...just make sure you know where you are taping in case the fuse goes.
