2012 tC Bluetooth not connecting to iPhone 5..

Good Morning Everyone!

I am new to this whole forum thing, but I cannot seem to get my local dealer to answer my question. My 2012 Scion tC has the regular Pioneer radio in it (not the upgraded unit). I had an iPhone 4, which set up to the Bluetooth and I became spoiled with my ability to stream the audio through it.
Now I purchased the new iPhone 5 last night and I cannot for the life of me get my phone to even recognize my car, and I have the dreaded "bta no connect" on the radio. Is the phone too new for my car? Is there a dealer software upgrade for the new Apple phone? or is it my damn new phone?

PLEASE HELP!

Instruction on how to pair the phone are located in the manual.

Go to the bluetooth option on the radio. initialize. pair. done.

Did you get this solved? My iphone 5 connects no issues

You need to initialize "discoverable mode" on your HU. The phone wont "see it" until you do that. Once you do it once it should connect automatically in the future.
