Hey guys not sure if this was an issue in the previous generation as well.

The only issue I have with my tC is that occasionally the bluetooth module does not want to work on my car.

Usually the only way to fix this is to turn the car off and then turn it back on of course I wouldn't do that while driving lol

I've tried other things like turning the radio unit off and back on but this almost never works.

When I start up my car theres always a 50/50 chance that the bluetooth will either be on or off. Should I try taking the fuse out for the unit? As far as I know when I checked the settings when its available the bluetooth power is on.

Btw mines the canadian model so we don't get that fancy touchscreen like our american model does

 

Hey KKWL, I had once similar issue with my radio, but the problem was with my phone, not with the HU.


When I changed for a more recent model, the problem disappear. Not sure if is your case, but maybe you can try with some friends newer model?


BTW, mine is also Canadian and have the same big touchscreen that the US version have it. I think the first '14 that arrive to Canada still having the "old" HU version...


Anyway, hope my advise helps.

 

Well it could be the iPod or my Nexus 4 both are old but I'm not 100% sure if that is the cause of the issue guess I'll have to do more testing. I can probably ask the dealership on my next oil change.
