Spin turn ***, aka drift butten?
Any one installed one for the TC2? I intended on puting one in the civic but now ive got the TC so i figured why not. But I have no idea what one would fit.

But won't you lose the operation of the handbrake? Isn't this so you can pull the lever up and let it go without ever having to click the button to unlock it? I don't see the point on a FWD car.

Edit: nevermind, I just checked the link.
As far as I know the ebrake can still be locked in the up position, but the button makes it so can also lift and drop with out having to push the button.

The button will make it so u can lift and rop it with out it staying up, thwen u pull out and the button will click. As for the FF part, I do cookies and do downhill "spirited" driving and find its a lot easier to make certan corners if i slide the rear tires areond the corner. Its more for my style of driving.
BTW FFs can drift, its just a whole dif ballgame.

As long as u enter corners rear did ahead of front did it's a drift regardless of drivetran. But FF drifting use to be just as bug as FR in Japan. But we all know awd is the best.
Back on topic though. Any idea on why one would fit?

Being a 240sx owner and old time drifter, I feel that I must argue that drifting is more than just pulling the ebrake and countersteering, saying that a FF car can powerover, brake drift, choku-dori, clutch kick, etc. etc. like a rear wheel drive car can, is simply wrong...
Ebraking a FF is very feasable and is done on many different styles of racing, autocross, downhill, and so on. But this is far from drifting a car...
On to the issue, the tC will throw an engine code, disable your ABS, traction control, and VSC if it sees that the rear wheels are locked while the front wheels are spinning. You will then need a dealer to clear the code/enable the safety systems again. I know this from experience.

I do it when it's wet out, fortunately in Oregon that's a lot. Start a turn rip the brake enough for the slide I want let it down and steer and it's never popped up a code not even the abs light. But my abs works because I use it from time to time in my down hill runs. So not sure what ur referring to. as for the drifting thing, call it opinions, but a drift is defined by entering a corner with ur rear dif ahead of ur front dif, FFs in the right hands and suspension/tires can do that.

Dont think im trash talking drifting by any means, im a huge initial D fan, watched all 4 stages and the live action movie countless times, and 2 of my closest car buddies on my team are both drifters. I made my friend josh blow his mr2s engine chasing my old civic in florida though haha miss my b16.
