Default 2012 Scion tC RS7 Build Thread

6/24/2011 - RS7 has officially been ordered with an expected delivery date of late August/ early September.

I am selling my 2007 Honda Civic LX and getting the tC. I have a lot of plans for this car. I want to do some minor cosmetic changes and then start tuning the car. I will be posting things I want to do as well as things I have done once I get the car. But until then if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post them here!

I guess i will start with some minor exterior ideas. I have three photoshopped pictures of a possible strip. (sorry for the bad Photoshop skills) if anyone else has any ideas feel free to photoshop them and post them!!

And I am pretty sure I will be getting Tein S-Techs the week after I get my car. I need to drop this baby down.

I'm not a big fan of stripes but if I was to choose one id go with the first one. Congrats on ordering your RS tC. Lets see the pics when you get it

Maybe it's just me but the base color of the car screams for a strip. in anycase i think duel racing strips would look good or possibly two thin strips on the driverside.
Hmmm...still don't think the tC2 can pull off strips though. the first pic you posted does look decent IMHO.

Not a fan on a big long stripe vertically/diagonal. Maybe you try longitudinal stipes/stipes.

If you're going to do a stripe make a Yenko tC - that would be the only time worth having a stripe

I say you make the stripe follow the body line of the car from the headlight to the rear side windows and just do all of it like that... example:

^^^photoshopped... look closely at the carbon fiber b-pillars, the "tC" is reversed, the gas cap is on the wrong side of the car, the black on the lip doesnt match the black on the hood, and the grill in the fender is a straight on shot even though the car is at an angle...

I would have to agree with a couple of the previous posters -- if you are going to implement a stripe, make sure it follows the body lines.
