But why sways if you just want to go low? The car wont sway when its dragging pavement...
Just saying, your burning your money if you plan to lower the car a lot and then expect the sway bars to help the "sway" or lack there of. Remember, lowering springs are designed to lower the center of gravity and stiffen the cornering of the car. If you lower too much, you start to adversely affect the geometry of the suspension and handling is actually compromised. Adding sway bars at this point wont help at all.
Just saying. The sensation that low street cars handle well is false. Some sway is really good as it allows you to load your tires.
Use sways as a tuning tool, not just because they exist.
Just trying to save you some coin!
Can't wait to see the RS!
Another question. I would love to get in on autox. How do I go about finding where it is in my area? I livening eastern pennsylvania. So if anyone knows let me know!!

If your dropping low for the looks, it might still be necessary to get sways. Stiffining the chassis will help keep the car flat to the road and may help in keeping you from buckling a fender if your going for a stanced look.
There are merrits to having the same parts installed regardless of application...

No, I appreciate the input, thank you!! I guess my problem is that I am not sure what I want to "do" with the car. I think I am going to hold off on springs for now. Once I get the car I cans start to figure that out. Lol.

LOL, been a mod for like a month now.
Even with coilovers set to the stiffest settings it will still be an improvement to install sway bars. Just think about the difference it made on your tC, night and day between the stocks and the TRD's...

But it still sways. Its something they do well. The decrease it, they don't stop it. Full stiff on coils and sways would be like welding rods in place of the dampers. No movement at all. Not good for handling.
All depends what he wants out of the car, handling or looks. I think the sways are good for the handling, but you don't see them and they don't do anything for looks, so put the money somewhere else. That's all.

Happened to be driving by a dealer in Orlando and look what was sitting pretty out front!
It happened to be an automatic and it was number 7 out of 2200.
It looks even better in real life!!

And thanks guys for the input, I am leaning more towards the TRD parts. I like the idea of having a TRD tC and don't really want to scrape the underside of my car up. But I will let you know what happens as we closer to the delivery date!

I was wondering the same thing. The one here in Orlando is an auto, and the dealer I bought mine from in pennsylvania said they will get three, most likely, and only one will be manual (and it's mine :-) lol).

Oh yea it is getting lowered that is for sure!!
Oh and I ordered my TWM short shifter and bushings tonight. I don't even have the car and parts have been ordered! Lol

question for those who has seen the RS 7.0 already. (ppl in canada)
does the door handle have any kind of button for keyless entry?
I assume proximity key means door handle button, so we can unlock/start the car without ever getting the key out of the pocket/purse.
But from the pictures I have seen, it does'nt look like there is a button to unlock the car.
I appreciate any input from those who has seen the car. thanks.

I saw one in Orlando. It didn't have a button on the outside, maybe on the inside of the handle. It is at a dealer near me I can try to stop by tomorrow again and find out though, because I am curious as well.

I tried to talk to few different dealers around here (boston area) regarding it, but no ones knows anything about it.
Heck, my dealer where I placed an order doesn't know either. It's going be a month in a week, and they don't even know when they'll recieve the car.

My dealer in Salem NH is telling me within 2 weeks.
I am more curious on the locking of the doors on the proximity keys. Do we have to remember to trigger the lock or does it lock auto as well if the key is not close by
