Wow, It's been a while. My 06 SW TC seems like ages ago lol
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has seen this car @ any dealers around the NYC area? I work @ a Toyota dealership in the parts dept. They are locating the car for me but was told I'm looking at the first or second week of Sept. before these cars start being pushed from port. They said one dealer has one around but they doubt they'll want to part ways with it on a swap.

It's no big deal, I can wait a couple of weeks. I'm just curious if anyone has any other info? Are these coming from the west coast and working their way to the east? Thanks

That's good news. May not be such good news for me though...Come to find out my dealership has no scion allocates.(what I was told). So they're telling me they have to swap with someone. I don't know if I'm more upset about the mileage that may be on the car or if a dealer will actually give one of these up

I don't have/need a deposit. I haven't with the last 2 cars I've gotten from my job. I spoke with the GM who's a friend of mine and he said no one in the northeast has the car yet. I guess we play the waiting game

Being creative is awesome. My 2 cents: You're looking at a limited edition tC. I'd suggest not doing anything to this car that can't be reverted back to stock. If you do a stripe, make it a vinyle and not painted on....that way if you get tired of it, you can simply remove it. As for suspension mods....look into the TRD parts bin (beyond what is officially published for the Scion.) In there you'll find some race spec suspension bits that will make your RS 7.0 a true screamer. And keep all the original parts packed away in a box. All that said, enjoy the hell out of that car!

What is this TRD parts bin? Is it a website? If so do you have the address, google wont pull it up.

You mean I should have left my RS1 xD stock? I guess I shouldn't have cut the roof

This is my 2nd RS edition and my wife drives a RS7 xB2...I've modded all of them...Unless you sell your car to some Scion guru who knows about the Limited'ness of the RS editions, all you really have is a basic Scion to the average person...Mod it and have fun with it, it's just a car

^ Agreed. I think the whole idea to these cars is to make them your own. Do what YOU want to it and enjoy.

Yeaaaa Boooooy! My car says "Shipping to port". They're saying I'll have it by the end of next week but I'm not holding my breath. My RS5 took 2 weeks after it hit port...Then again the RS5 had TRD lowering springs installed, exhaust etc. This one is basically just a body kit. Well, here's to hoping =]

When I went to order my TRD shift **** for my RS5 the parts guy was like "aren't you wanting to get into the new RS?" Just wouldn't work in my favor doing a trade in at this moment. The future RS I'm looking forward to is the FR-S :D. IDK I've been tempted at the RS7, the color just stands out.

This is pretty unlikley. Most dealerships are not going to risk losing a for sure sale, but, if the car has more than 6 miles on it, someone drove it.

oh i no, if there is nothing more then 7 or 9 miles on it, it is ok. but if it has like 15 to 30 miles on it then that is when i will get ____ed off. i will till them to give me more for my car, or i will ask for my money i put down back and drive up to MI to get one. and i will never buy a car from then again
