Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum, but have been watching a lot of the build threads. my 2011 tc is my first car because of how customizable it is. What are some cheap mods that I can do because I'm just a high school kid haha! I've plastidipped my wheels and gotten tint. Im thinking of LEDing up my car like Scion202 but in red? Any other cheap suggestions that are pretty cool? I am looking for a cool decal but haven't been feeling any yet!

Lowering springs and exhaust system

 

If $400 springs and exhaust system is cheap, I want some of your bank roll.

 

You can find most lowering springs for the Tc2 on E-Bay for 230ish. Really easy to install if you can read and turn a wrench. Alignment is really not needed right off. Been riding mine for 5k miles without an alignment, no problems.Exhausts are waste of money for this car imo, whatever little power you gain up top, you lose in the lower rpm's.

 

lowering is a must!! leds are cool, but people can take it toooo far.. paint emblems, lp frame, hd front lip, if you did it right you could sell your rims and buy cheap one for the same price. only thing you would pay for is mount and balance and that like $100, leds in corner, mirror blinkers, blinkers, hids, fogs, intakes sound nice, think you can find one for about 150 used, yea all this stuff is kinda cheap to do, but it all adds up.

 

2 must have mods:

-Lowering springs
-cold air intake

Result:

1.Your car has a sexy/mean stance
2. Your car has a mean/dominating sound to it

 

what's the best cold air intake? im such a noob haha

 

Heat sink is a _____ if u want the best bang for ur buck ur gonna have to heat wrap it.

 

Injen Intake is the best. But no, you aren't going to get the exhaust system for HP gains, you will get it because it make it sound like a beast, and not like a stock chevy cobalt

 

but yeah, best thing is to lower it before anything else, you will not regret it guaranteed. ask anyone on here

 

cool, ill look into lowering springs. and just for kicks, what do u guys think is the biggest chick magnet?? (other than the driver because I got that down ;))

 

biggest chick magnet? just with tinted windows dropped and nicce wheels. girls have came up to me and turned out to be a good night.

And this is the car that really got girls. I kid you not, girls would randomly flash me on a regular basis. Though with the Remus exhaust making it sound like a Ferrari and the custom mounted sub between the seats looking all bad a** added to the innate sexiness of the car, I'd probably have flashed me too.
