the ticking clicking noise alot of you are actually hearing in the sun roof is the bug guard bouncing and hitting the sunroof when closed or partially opened that's just the spring in it working

the door panels do not rattle the window switch panel's do simple fix is to get a small piece of 3m double sided tape or small piece of adhesive padding cut it around the outside of the switch panel (so it's not noticable) fixed my problem and still works great

Default Active Headrest

that was your active headrest working, if you push the bottom of the seat back then your headrest pops up so it helps with whiplash

LOL

I have had my car not even 2 weeks and I notice in some places all over the exterior paint has a white fog/film on it. It feels rough and when you run your hand down the side you can hear when you go from the normal paint to the rough fog/film.
Anyone else have this issue?

The problems I've had are this:

I get some kind of suspension squeak in the back left side of my car. Gotta take it to the dealership. I've also got the door rattle, and the sunroof rattle when I'm driving but it's not so bad.

The biggest problem I seem to have would be power.. now I'm not sure anybody else is getting this but when I go uphill in 6th gear its pretty sluggish and hard to keep speed up. I've also been getting about 25-26MPG from mostly freeway driving, 70 miles both ways. This is with the automatic transmission. Does anybody else have that sluggish feeling with the auto? I know when I downshift I can definitely move, but even in 5th gear I really have to gas it plentifully for it to pick up without feeling lethargic.

Just a quick update for anyone with a noisy sunroof and window switches, and no bass from the Alpine. I just took my car in for its 5,000 mile service and had them check out the rattles. He said they tightened the sunroof for now, but a more permanent fix was coming soon. He told me they're waiting for kits to stop the rattles.

On the window switches, they used a silencing kit. Not a peep on the way home.

They ordered a new head unit. They called and confirmed there were issues reported. They didn't question me at all.

2 weeks old 2011 scion tc, when I release the gas pedal at any speed and it comes to 20-30 mph I "feel" that the breaks are being pressed. I'm not sure if I'm describing it right. I was thinking about bringing it back to the dealer to check. Any thoughts?

I think I know what you're talking about. Going down a hill, it feels like the car is holding itself back. And when you're slowing down, it drops down through the gears. I don't think anything is wrong..

^ur saying that 'braking sensation' happens in "D" or when ur in the shift-tronic mode? if it's while ur in 'd' then i'd guess it's something weird since autos just let you coast almost as if you were in neutral.

My previous car was a 4 speed auto. This 6 definitely feels different at those speeds. It feels like it's in a lower gear. Kick it over into manual and put it up in 6th and see how that feels.

Mine does this. Extremely irritating. Toyota's downshifting auto is idiotic.
