I have an event on Sunday (supposed to go full-course lapping on Saturday but have decided to hold off until next month). I'll have video/photos up after the event.

As always, stay tuned! Oh, and if there is anything you guys want to see, please let me know!

Last event of the season just ended a few weeks ago. It was a nasty event. Temps were only 4 degrees Celsius and by my 3rd run, it was raining. For those of you wondering, Advans are terrible below 7 degrees Celsius and even worse in the rain when cold!

None the less, here are a few vids: 2 in the dry, 1 in the wet. (Sorry, I just realized the back cover was on the camera, therefore the sound is a little quiet!)

Enjoy!

The only thing is that the RPF1's in black are limited edition and only available in select sizes and offsets. The +38 is not available in black... But for anyone else looking for these wheels, the +38 will not only clear the caliper, but it will clear the fender and strut without issue. A 255 will be an easy tire to install on this fitment.

So you're saying that +45 offset barely clears the BBK.
Is stock caliper wider than BBK ? and Therefore this wheel wouldnt fit?
+38 wouldnt fit stock caliper either? Is stock caliper really 8mm wider than BBK?

i was thinking the same thing. I'm going to put RPF1's on my car in the spring. Need to make sure they clear though

Its not a necessarily matter of caliper size, its the location of it.

The stock rotor is obviously smaller than the TRD BBK rotor, so the caliper is closer to the hub than the TRD. This is the problem. Because RPF1's over 9" wide have concave spokes, the spokes bowl in towards the hub so much that they come into contact with the stock caliper. The TRD caliper is further away from the hub center providing it move clearance with the spokes, but because it is wider it still comes extremely close. But, at least it doesn't touch.

I currently run 3mm hub-centric spacers I had made on the car for added clearance.

Sorry. Had them custom made to my specs through a local machine shop. Check with your local machine shops as they should be able to help. Otherwise there are lots of locations online that can do them.

Wow, I'm a little late on this... I was on a modding hold, so I was trying to avoid the forum/temptation.

I used to live near Fort Walton Beach. I've since moved to the Phoenix area.

@Matt: How have you been? Haven't seen much of you or Colin since it got cold up there. Anything new and exciting in your world?

Nothin' too new. We are both extremely busy and Colin has rotated to another department now. Our activity has slowed, partially because of the cold but also due to work load.

Don't worry, we're still around ;)

LOLz
TOP 10!

However a better way is to measure popularity which would be measured as views per post

Name: topPOP.jpg
Views: 24
Size: 18.4 KB

However that also depends on how long you've been a member/had a thread

Yo I was number one on that list #2!

I'm waiting for spring for my next mods....

On a side note, 1stOne. Ive noticed since I got coils the car has lots of body roll :/ would you consider the trd sways a good investment even tho I have drastically lowered the car?

Thanks
