unless the cage bushings are the same size a stock, I wouldnt use em untill you get a short shifter. DocI's cage bushings usually raise the cage a bit as to compensate for the relocated pivot point.

I did end up getting the .600" cage bushing, which do raise it up.

But I had planned on waiting for Dr. I to release a short throw before installing the cage bushings.

Do you think they cage bushings would negatively affect the stock shifter?

Well it might put extra stress on the cables. In my opinion just doin the cage bushings wouldn't be worth the effort of taking out the shifter to put em in lol. If your getting his short shifter upon release just wait it out a bit.

definitely do the cable bushing though, you'll love em

Yeah that's kinda what I was planning on doing, getting all the bushings now and then buying his short throw when its released (i hope!)

On my 07 I had all of his products, the Extreme reduction short throw, cable and cage bushings... Got soooo many comments on the shifter and the feel. I probably miss that and obviously the turbo most about my 07.

I'll definitely let you guys know how much the bushings help, and ill take some pics of the install.

Installed the cable bushings last night, took about 5 minutes with no tools.

The overall feel is much more crisp, the gates feel sharper and the shift throw feels more smooth.

Noticeable difference,

Good buy IMO

haha yeah... I dont think I've ever been able to wait more than 5 minutes after receiving a package to open it, much less wait weeks to play with the new toy haha.

glad to hear you like the bushings, HIDs look nice too

Yup.

Haven't had time to remove the underbody panels to get to the bulbs. I don't know what size they are yet!

Yup, dude that bought it lives about 20 min away lol

I'm not sure what all happened but I guess they lost the tune. Even tho the internal memory for the FIC should last for weeks atleast! I don't know why they changed the battery anyways lol I never had a problem.

It is an interesting moral delimma because legally I could just tell the guy to have a nice day, but that's not how scion guys should do, so I talked to him on the phone and I'll probably go down there and show him how it all goes back together. :/
