No, without the car on coilovers I couldn't get a good measurement of what would fit. Once I get the coilovers I'm gonna mount the whole set of 18x10 an see where I'm at

I was bored yesterday....

Test fitted some wheels, not because the wheel style but for the fitment

Wheels are off of my 1971 dart lolzorz

Sorry for the old iPhone pics!

Rear wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust II 17x11j with a 7" backspacing. Fronts are 17x8.5j with an unknown offset.

Tires are 285/40/17 and 245/45/17

I believe you could fit an 11j wheel on the back if you were lowered with a 235 or 245 and some camber.

Hey, I just got my tC yesterday, I live in Canada so we are not able to even order fog lights up here.
I was wondering how much you paid for those, and do dealers usually stock them?

Also for the HID Did you just need the bulbs?
Very new to the whole modding scene so please pardon the question if it is rookie.

Joe

You can get the fog lights here...

http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=3782

That's the most reputable place I can think of. They are a Scion dealership.

The HID's come with a
-High intensity bulb
-Wiring harness (for the ballast. Usually plug and play)
-HiD ballast ( to fire the high output bulb)

You can find them at many popular sites on this forum ddmtuning.com, hidextra.com to name a few.

Thank you for the information on the HiDs. I have no idea why Scion has not made the fog lights available in Canada. I will have to see if I can contact a Scion dealer a little closer to the boarder if I want these soon.

We will be making the fog lights available in the next month or so... We have had some issues to work around - like the standard bluetooth which occupies the knockout for the fog light switch.

I'll be sure to post up as soon as we release them!

Aren't there a couple of other knockouts that are free? Why can those spots be used? If the fog light switch had to be in the knockout used by the blutooth, why wasn't the blutooth switch put in one of the free ones?

In the states, are you telling me that no one already has blutooth and fog lights? where are their switches located?!

...I just want fog lights too!

There is only 1 free knockout in the tC in Canada. In the US there are 2 because bluetooth is not standard like it is in Canada. I can see that being the problem with installation as security and foglights both would occupy a knockout spot. Can't get security if you have fogs and can't get fogs if you have security type thing.

I'm sure the boys at Scion will chime in with something soon though.

Watching... I am back and forth with the new tC as well. Hate to see you leave your 1st gen, but I look forward to seeing what you have in store for this one. P.S. - want to give me the 6-speed?!? ;)
