I appreciate that but I am kinda glad I backed out, even though he is well known I am still always iffy about buying parts from other people, plus his tires were apparently almost bald, and that'd be another 400 to get those. I'm paying the same price for these and they're brand new.

Had I known at the time that you could've helped I probably would have gone through with it, but it's too late now.

Yeah, after seeing them on a tC2 I had to have them. I'm giving myself some time to recover (financially) after this but then I will probably be looking at some KSports.

I'm finally getting some wheels. Not some cheap fake-o's either. (I think )

I am getting a set of Klutch SL14's, 18x9.5 +25 all around, with tires.

And not too long after this I plan on slamming it on some coils.

Now, I WAS about to get something else, hence why I didn't say what it was at first. Some of you probably know of the TRICE10 tC2. I was trying to buy his wheels (he wanted to sell them on fb a while back) but unfortunately he wasn't being very responsive on Facebook and didn't seem to eager to sell the wheels. So I backed out.

For those of you that don't know, he has Work XD9's, and they are seriously sexy.

But anyway this was a better deal for me and I jumped on it. I wanted the Cyber Monday discount but unfortunately I couldn't buy today due to my bank...
I'm getting it fixed with PayPal, and will officially buy them within a few days.

WOOP
gorgeous choice of wheels! they're going to look great on your car, what kind of tires are you going to mount on them? the crappy toyos? or a set of actual good tires?

I recommend the falken fk453s. Even though I only went with 40 series instead of the factory 45, I still got a much quieter ride. It was also a night and day difference how much softer bumps were. Not to mention those tires will take much faster cornering speeds without screeching after the purchase if those tires, idk who would ever pay to have the factory tires replaced with the same factory tires. I am coming from the Yokohamas that come on the manual tc2s

congrads! post pics when they're mounted!

those are both good tires. I'd probably go with the expensive ones when/if I ever get new rims.

They finally shipped them out early this morning. Hopefully they'll be here Wednesday, and I'll have them on Saturday.

Can you spell STOKED?

Default Theyyy're heeeeeerrrrrrre

Well they made it...

They'll go on on Saturday.

To be perfectly honest, I'm a little disappointed about the tires. I love the rims to death, but I think the tires are too meaty. If they don't fit because of the tires then I will probably sell these and get a smaller set. These are 265/35r18 and I want to get 235/35r18. If they fit, I can deal with it. It's not horrible, I'm just being picky (as usual).

When I put them on I will have to see how they fit. And I will probably need to roll fenders.

Other than the tires being too big, I am very happy with how they look so far. I can't wait to put them on.

I believe they will rub.... I have tried 255/40 on 18x8.5 +35 on Eibach spring and they rub on humps or slight dips on highway...

I know, I will be getting my fenders rolled after I see how they fit.
After rolling and maybe new tires, they should fit flush, but it all depends on how they look tomorrow when I test fit them.

I'm trying to go for the same look as this guy -

that guy's tC looks good! is he on Tein S techs too? or coils?

So you're saying he runs 18x9.5 rims too?
I was going to go with 18x9 Enkei rims.

he also looks to have a spacer in the rear right?
I'd run a 10mm myself if there are minimal safety concerns..

No he didn't have a spacer in that pic, his thread said something about wanting to get one.
