Turned out being pretty light too
I cut the stock insert by heating a couple different sized box cutters on the stove.
And this too would be bye bye when, if I don't land an FR-s sooner, I get turbo.

LOL, I don't know how big... but its definitely noticeable.. The other night going to Orlando, I came across a 350z with single exhaust(only thing I could tell he had).. As long as I kept her in the high RPMs, I felt like I had a shot against the guy. I was so pumped! Of course traffic wouldn't allow us a full on shot at each other, but when a gap showed up the guy couldn't get away..
Its significantly louder, but only when you make demands. I love the sound it makes when (sitting in the drive thru is the best) quickly pressing the gas for a milli-second and you can hear the air sucked in
On the same road trip above at some point I drove through med - light rain.
Inspected the inside from the bumper: very few droplets
Inspected the hose in the engine bay as well as the opening of the filter box and no evidence of water.
and thanks for reminding me on the water drainage slits, got excited and skipped that step heh

LOL, Thanks for the info. that is something that looks fun to do. Do you have a part number or link for the K&N filter?

Cool that someone else can verify the feel of a difference..
I mean when you think about it.. drive up the road and stick your hand (which is roughly the size of this vent) out the window with fingers together and you can get an idea of what kind of wind force is hitting that vent with different speeds..
May be possible to get it cheaper online, but with shipping $$ and wait I went with immediate satisfaction lol

Got the subs installed... Finally.
Word to the wise... don't try to skip the remote wire.
Now waiting for the moment an auto part store is open so I can rent a spring compressor. Can't wait to get the TRDs on..

I miss florida, so much better for driving then oregon. But u guys dont have mountains and snow. oregon def gets +1 to fun factor lol. Hows the stopping power feel on that florida ice when its wet out? My civic never had problems but i feel like the stock tc tires dont stick as well with the power.

Downhill mountain biking... is reason enough for me.
Driving.. u said it.. Mountains. Natural challenges to handling skills.. Love it.
I have to search hard for a good practice location, and they don't usually last long because its usually future development spots (mostly cause their open, twisty and lack the Curb Consequence).
Got two locations that have awesome layouts (straights and turns), but have the Curb Consequence.
All my money would go to Gas/tires if I were where u r

I did the same in florida, i lived in kissemmi and found a grip of back roads that are dirt/sand that i use to tare up by some rich hosue complex that isnt celebration (thats where i lived) they re smoothed those roads every wensday. The thing i miss about florida is the sun year round, im a windows down sunroof open A/C off kind of guy. But i much prefer corners over straights. Being a honda guy every one wanetd to race me down there but no one wanted to corner so I rarely did anything that wasnt solo.

Beemer/Infiniti drivers like trying to have a go at me with this TC2..
Someone I just met recently thought I was driving a lexus haha maybe thats why high dollar coupes go at me
But even most of them don't corner.
